Member Subscriptions to Protein Science

Subscribers to the print version of Protein Science are provided with full access to Protein Science Online as an added benefit. Currently, online-only subscriptions are not offered.

Member subscriptions are only available to members of The Protein Society. Other individuals who are not members of The Protein Society may acquire an Individual (Non-Member) subscription.

Member subscribers receive the print journal and have online access to:: Tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, full-text display, document delivery, PDFs, links to Medline and GenBank, reference links to other HighWire Press journals, future tables of contents, data supplements, and special individual-subscriber services. Plus there is the advantage of having password access to Protein Science Online from any computer connected to the Internet.
In addition, they enjoy the many benefits of Protein Society membership itself!

Without a subscription one still has online access to Tables of contents, abstracts, and full-text searching (without full-text viewing) at no cost and without having to register.

Ordering Procedure

A combined print and electronic subscription to Protein Science is included as part of membership in The Protein Society. Inquiries and arrangements for membership should be made with:

Online-Access Procedure

Once CSHL Press has received authorization from The Protein Society, your subscription to the print journal will be entered, and you will receive a letter with instructions for obtaining access to the World Wide Web edition. The letter will direct you to an online form. You will be asked to provide the following information necessary to activate your subscription to Protein Science Online:

A user name and password that you can easily remember.

Your name, phone number, and e-mail address.

Your customer number (included with the letter).

Having Online-Access Problems?

Access to Protein Science Online is restricted to subscribers of the print journal. A letter is sent out instructing print subscribers on how to activate access and sign on to the online journal.
